Happy New Year to All!
In the month of December I chose to do a full fast over several days in order to seek God and prepare myself for 2021. I was specifically seeking God’s Heart concerning 2021. During that time, while I did hear many things, I still did not have what I felt was a clear Word of the Lord concerning 2021. Yesterday, as I was about many tasks, thought after thought started to bubble up in my heart and finally last night while I was sleeping I feel I heard the Voice of God clearly say the following concerning this new year, 2021!
2021 is the Year Two become One!
I heard God Say this to me multiple times concerning many things. I will do my best to put into words what I Heard God say in my Heart and Spirit.
2021, Two Become One. This is first and foremost in relational to the verse first spoken in Genesis;
‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.’ Genesis 2:24-25 NLT
You see we are the Bride of Christ, This Year God is calling us to truly become One with Him. We desires us to walk in such intimacy with Him that we become one with Him, in Heart, Mind Spirit and Action!
2021, Two Become One. Marriage is the great melting pot of two souls. It is the ever skillful refiner of our rough edges of our stains and heartaches. Marriage stretches us and invites to deal with everything that we have never dealt with our whole lives and requires honesty, reflection, repentance and submission. In other words, Marriage is not easy but the deeper we grow together, the more intimate we become. I am the first to admit, I still have much work to do in this area! You see, the longer we walk with God, Our Hearts should grow more passionately in Love, we should desire HIM more and more every moment of every day! We should desire and walk and live in oneness just as Jesus prayed for us to be One;
‘“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. ‘ John 17:20-23 NLT
2021, Two Become One. The Longer you are married to someone, the more you begin to look like them, sound like them, act like them. We must always remember that marriage is a living daily example of what our relationship with God is supposed to look like. We must always remember that Jesus is the Bridegroom and we are the Bride! Recently, I realized that a particular scripture we frequently quote concerning God’s Blessing actually means sooooo much more! Keep in mind that we are to become more like Christ with every moment of every day, let’s look at several scriptures;
‘Take delight in the Lord , and he will give you your heart’s desires. Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Commit everything you do to the Lord . Trust him, and he will help you.’ Psalms 37:3-5 NLT
I want you to read this Scripture prayerfully and you will see the essence of what is being said, He will Give You Your Heart’s Desires, this means that He will replace our worldly, selfish desires and replace them with His Holy and Annointed and Righteous Desires! Let me confirm this with some other verses;
‘For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.’ Philippians 2:13 NLT
‘So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another. gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!’ Galatians 5:16-26 NLT
In order for Two to become One, Our Desires must be replaced with His Desires! Just Like in Marriage we are called to Deny ourselves and put every aspect of our spouses life first, (again, I am still growing in this area of my marriage!) This is Exactly what Jesus Himself Said;
‘Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. ‘ Matthew 16:24-25 NLT
So you see TRUE Oneness requires us to Deny ourselves and to allow God to Give US the Desire of Our Hearts, remember we are born again, we are His Children and We must Reflect Him in Every Area of our Lives.
2021, Two Become One. God is Calling us to Be Holy just As HE IS HOLY!
“Give the following instructions to the entire community of Israel. You must be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy. Leviticus 19:2 NLT
You must be holy because I, the Lord , am holy. I have set you apart from all other people to be my very own. Leviticus 20:26 NLT
So set yourselves apart to be holy, for I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 20:7 NLT
For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:16 NLT
But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. 1 Peter 1:15 NLT
‘Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. ‘ Hebrews 12:14 NLT
God is Calling Us to Be Holy Just as He is HOLY! This is part of TRUE Oneness, This is Why He must Give us the Desires of Our Hearts, so that we pursue and long for what HE Desires!
2021, Two Become One. God is Calling us to Live a Life of Daily Repentance and Submission to Him. That is what will allow us to walk and Live in Righteousness! We need to strip away the things that are preventing us from Truly Living our Lives bringing Honor and Glory to Jesus!
‘Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. ‘ Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT
‘Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.’ James 4:8-10 NLT
‘Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. ‘ 1 John 3:7 NLT
‘Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. ‘ James 5:16 NLT
‘Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.’ Romans 5:1,17-19,21 NLT
So you see, repentance and submission are key to living and walking in Righteousness. Jesus Makes us Righteous when we chose to submit ourself to Him!
2021, Two Become One. God is OUR Source! He Must Be First and Foremost! I recently heard an excellent message by Keith Moore that really made it clear. Everything on this planet comes from God, no exceptions. We must See God as our ONLY Source! Afterall there is Only One! We can have multiple Streams or Channels BUT GOD Is Our Source!!
‘ Yet for us there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of all things and for Whom we [have life], and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through and by Whom are all things and through and by Whom we [ourselves exist]. [Mal. 2:10.]’ 1 Corinthians 8:6 NLT
‘ And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.’ Philippians 4:19 NLT
‘Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.’ James 1:17-18 NLT
‘I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord , who made heaven and earth!’ Psalms 121:1-2 NLT
‘For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.’ Romans 11:36 NLT
‘ But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ‘ Matthew 6:33 NLT
Part of True Oneness is Seeking God First! Not an afterthought. Not after we have tried and failed. God Must Be First!
2021, Two Become One. Intimacy, In To Me See. If we are Truly Going to be =come One with God, it requires us to See and Know who HE IS! We must Reflect HIS Essence and Who He IS! GOD IS LOVE! Love is the KEY that allows all of the above to be fulfilled with Power and Authority and Victory! We Must Walk in LOVE this year more than ever! The Time is So Very Short…I feel it in every fiber of my being! We Must Learn to Walk in LOVE and BE LOVE just as He is LOVE!
‘Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.’ 1 John 4:7-12 NLT
‘If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.’ 1 Corinthians 13:1-7,13 NLT
LOVE Never Gives UP! It Endures Through Every Circumstance!! LOVE is the Greatest!
Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. 1 John 4:18 NLT
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:14 NLT
If we are going to walk in True Oneness with God This Year, We must Walk in Love and Be LOVE!
‘No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. We love each other because he loved us first. If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.’ 1 John 4:12,15-21 NLT
2021, Two Become One. This is the Year of Oneness with God. Are you ready to embark on the Greatest Year Ever as you choose to be in Full Submission to God and His Desires?
If You Would Like to Give Your Life Over in Full Submission to Jesus Christ, Please pray the following along with me;
Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I recognize that You LOVE me and sent Your Son to remove the sin which separates me from You. Father, I respond to Your love and REPENT of ALL past SIN. Please forgive me and cleanse me by the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST. By faith, Father, I now receive Your forgiveness and cleansing in Jesus Name, and I thank You that Your Word says that I am now brought near by the Blood of Jesus Christ through which I enter BLOOD COVENANT RELATIONSHIP with You today.
LORD JESUS CHRIST I invite You to come into my life, and I SUBMIT TOTALLY to You. I ask You to be LORD of my SPIRIT, SOUL (mind, thoughts, will, intellect, and emotions), and my BODY.
Now by faith I confess that sin shall no more have dominion over me because your Spirit lives in me. I also confess that I am SAVED; and under covenant through Jesus Christ to receive the promises that are for me (salvation, deliverance, healing, and God’s promises).
Yes and Amen! I renounce the lordship of satan or any authority besides Christ over every area of my spirit, soul (mind, thoughts, will, intellect, and emotions), and my body. I renounce every hold or influence of the devil in ALL areas of my life including everything inherited through the generations because the Word tells me I have a NEW FATHER and I only inherit from Him now.
Lord Jesus, You are the BAPTISER in the HOLY SPIRIT, and I ask You to baptize me with the Holy Spirit and FIRE. I believe by faith that I have the same access to the power of the Holy Spirit and rights to every spiritual gift (1 Corinthians 12:4-11) that You gave to the early Church. So I pray that You will help me live and walk daily in all the fullness of the Spirit-filled life You intended for me. I open my heart for you to fill it now with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
