Story time in the Forest: The Truth Sets You Free
The story at the beginning is a paraphrase of the Poem called The Brick. It is very profound.
Truth overrides emotions, it is The Truth that always will shift our perspective, shift our emotions and most importantly, change our actions! The Truth will Always Set you Free! You See, The Reason why The Truth always Sets us Free, is simply because Truth is a Person! His Name is Jesus Christ! That is why there is no your truth nor my truth, there is only Ever The TRUTH. Jesus is The TRUTH, who will Set You Free!
‘Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. ‘ John 14:6
As well, often we think we are a good person, that we deserve heaven because we did this or that, or because we aren’t as bad as someone else…but scripture is very clear:
‘We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. ‘Romans 3:22-23
While you might find what I said controversial, Truth is Truth, even if it ruffles our feathers and makes us uncomfortable. Truth always pushes us to change! I pray that my words where a Live Giving Perfume as you listened;
‘Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this? ‘ 2 Corinthians 2:15-16

Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Wash me and cleanse me. Set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that You are risen from the dead and that You’re coming back again for me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me a passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God and a holy boldness to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m saved; I’m born again, I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to Heaven because I have Jesus in my heart.
