3 Lies that people choose to believe about Mary, the mother of Jesus.
Lie 1. Perpetual virginity – two key scriptures destroy that lie
Matthew 1:25 NLT [25] But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus. Take careful notice of the words until Jesus was born!
Mark 3:31-32 NLT [31] Then Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see him. They stood outside and sent word for him to come out and talk with them. [32] There was a crowd sitting around Jesus, and someone said, “Your mother and your brothers are outside asking for you.”
Both James and Jude were half-brothers of Jesus!
Lie 2. Queen of Heaven –
see Jeremiah chapter 44 and chapter 7…the queen of heaven is a demon called Ishtar!
Mary was simply the mother of Jesus, she is not our intercessor nor co-redemptrice and she does not sit at the right hand of the father!
Lie 3. Mary was sinless
Mary was a sinner just like everyone of us. She still needed to repent of her sins and believe in Jesus to be saved!
