Often we let little sins go undealt with and they gradually grow and their roots get stronger and stronger, making them harder to uproot.

Scripture does clearly tell us that we will reap what we sow! IF we sow sin, we will reap sin! So we need to deal with any and every sin immediately!

Sadly, when it comes to this, many are completely blinded by denial…be careful because DENIAL means;

You see, only when we acknowledge and confess and repent of our sins, our judgements, our false beliefs or foundation lies, only then can the Holy Spirit set us Free! We need to get to the root and remove it completely so there is no chance that festers and hinders us. We need to take things that were in the dark, (the roots under the soil) and expose them to the Light of God, (by confessing/repenting/renouncing them we uproot them and exposes them and God destroys them!) Don’t let little sins become big problems! Deal with the Roots today and Walk in the Freedom that Only Jesus can Give You!

‘Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important. Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct. Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them. Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.’ Galatians 6:1-10 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/GAL.6.1-10

‘Even now the ax of God’s judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire.’ Matthew 3:10 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/MAT.3.10

‘And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.’ Colossians 2:6-10,13-15 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/COL.2.6-10,13-15

‘I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.’ Ephesians 3:16-21 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/EPH.3.16-21
